What do we offer?
These are full class lessons in which every pupil in the class learns an instrument as part of your weekly timetable.
Over the course of a year, we enable pupils to learn basic techniques, a range of fun, progressive tunes and all associated musical knowledge. We also provide encouragement and opportunity for pupils to continue in a small group setting after the lessons if they want to progress further.
What instrument options are there?
Recorder, clarinet, flute, trumpet, trombone, violin, viola, cello, guitar, ukulele, keyboard and percussion.
Why choose this programme?
The programme is designed so that all pupils of all backgrounds have an opportunity to try an instrument – aiding both their musical and general development.
In doing so, it helps dispel any perception of music as elitist, breaking down barriers and contributing to an educational culture of inclusivity.
